Maya - 5 Minute Moom Pose 3

Moom Pose

Reference Pose
I think the angle of the spine worked out the way I intended but I ended up with the left arm too far forwards and the left leg not quite extended enough as well as an issue in the hips. Overall I think the pose is similar to the reference.

    1) Get some text to me as soon as you can - try and 'express your story in words' as opposed to just 'writing what happens'.
    2) Refresh your influences in terms of art style - find some animations or artwork that 'are close' to what you can see when you think about this story.
    3) Sign up for a tutorial on Monday - minor or dissertation or both or whatever!

  2. So

    1) Commit to full treatment of story as series of 'episodes' and send to me asap!
    2) Character design - consider your rule book of limitations (so what can't they do? How don't they function? Versus what the story needs them to do.
    3) Consider the quickest most accurate way of exploring the 'camera' and the tree concept as a storytelling device.
    4) Have a bash at translating the illustrative textures of the source imagery into/onto a 3D object - so 'create glaze tests'...
    5) Poma tutorials for animated 2D faces etc.
    6) Consider 'project branding' and open up to feedback.
    7) Stay in contact with me - and blog stuff! (Blogging is your project's heartbeat).
